Open Call for Applications: 2025 ICH Associate Expert Program

The International Information and Networking Centre for Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Asia-Pacific Region under the auspices of UNESCO (ICHCAP) welcomes applications for the 2025 ICH Associate Expert Program. The key objective of this program is to support individuals aspiring to become professionals in the ICH field through internships and research in ICH safeguarding. Participants will engage in various networking programs at ICHCAP as interns, with opportunities to experience and engage with ICH communities for individual research. Considering the explosive demand from local communities and partner organizations, as well as opportunities for enhancing participant capacities, the program has been extended to 4 months.
Program Outline
• Number of Participant: one person
• Duration: four months (August to November 2025)
• Location: Jeonju, Republic of Korea
Qualification
• be an Asian-Pacific professional who has more than two years of work experience in relevant fields OR
• be an Asian-Pacific student in a higher education (graduate, postgraduate, or postdoctoral program in living heritage,
culture, international cooperation, and other related fields)
